If you loved the original, this is what I would have expected it to be, if made today. It’s amazing, 2016 and eternal are fantastic. But this one is perfection personified. Highly recommend it to fans of FPS or doom games in general. Only had one crash on ps5 and I’m pretty sure it’s because I left it running overnight.

I played the first and even though it looked pretty rough and gameplay wasn’t that great I still had a decent time. The second one however is a glitchy, boring, confusing mess of terrible dialogue and even worse gameplay. Sometimes I can kill one of the stupid dog, monkey things in one shot. Other times, I’ll hit it with a pipe bomb and a full clip of an assault rifle and it just tears me to shreds anyway. I bought all 3, but I’m really hoping the 3rd is better than the second. But not much faith.
