Seasons 1, 2, and 3 were fantastic. Very entertaining, well written and acted, and the remote stark setting of wintry Minnesota is as much a character in the series as are the humans. Made me very impatient for season 4. Unfortunately season 4 is horrendous. Other reviews explain the shortcomings better then I can. I do not recommend season 4 at all.
