I absolutely didn’t expect to love G20 as much as I did, but wow—this movie had everything I look for. Action, family, unity, the fight between good and evil—it was all there. Viola Davis was amazing and absolutely perfect for this role. She carried the weight of leadership with such strength, and it made me think: every president should have military training. Honestly, after watching this, I feel like everyone should. If you love your country, you do whatever it takes to defend it.
This movie hit me hard, in ways I wasn’t expecting. The way the family’s bond ran through the husband and children, all about saving each other while saving others—it had me in tears. That kind of sacrifice, that kind of love, it’s what makes stories like this resonate so deeply. Marsai Martin and Anthony Anderson reprising their father-daughter dynamic? Incredible. It was a whole different feel than their previous roles, but somehow, it was the perfect match.
I watched this movie without huge expectations, but I left completely moved. It’s gripping, emotional, and makes you think about what truly matters. I recommend G20 100%.
