Went to watch this movie for a date on a whim after seeing two funny clips of it on my reels, was not let down. Needless to say I wasn't expecting much, but that doesn't mean this movie was mid at all. A lot of the jokes landed pretty well, although some were obviously aimed at a younger audience but most of the comedy was well done. Not only was it good in the comedy department, but the action and fight scenes were also really good along with its semi-emotional scenes that were actually beautifully shot (through CGI ofc). It felt like the people behind this movie really knew what they were doing and that this wasn't just some cash grab for kids to watch. This made me rewatch the original 2007 Transformers a few days later and boy was that also a good watch. 8.5/10 defs worth the watch.
