I hated to see Roger A. character resort to beating a helpless captive. So much for his honor. Perhaps, Joan got her terrible disposition and manners from the father after all. The rest was just waiting time utill they all get back together and get rid of the way over the top thugs in the offices. Enough over acting.

Watched all I could understand as series 7,8,9 do not have cc where I watch. I just cannot understand Vera especially. Lately, her voice is higher and squeaky.. and fades away . I resent she is the ONLY character who thinks and talks in that series. I like Kenny. I accept the Sarge... I just wish Vera would let someone else talk and really wish she would quit running up and down hillsides, over mountain tops and ladders with her overweight and aged body. Stop it. Let the staff do the leg work. Sit down for a bit and share the limelight. Drop the love and pet once in a while too. And, buy a new coat.

Love John Nettles. Saw Bergerac from start to finish last month for lst time. Theme is just awful. First half of series is good writing and filming. Acting is good as usual. Last two series were not so good. Writing was bad. Last Series was awful. What were the writers thinking. They completely took a decent leading character and made him a second rate loser by the end. I was just so disgusted. So..... we began the series again from first to the last two series..... Seeing John in his young prime was worth the whole thing. Midsomers is my every day pick up.

The Womens Prison episode onBrokenwood Mysteries was terrible. Long, boring, nasty looking actors, rotten morals, little acting done by the main characters that people want to see... just very disappointing.
