If a paranormal crew was killed by demonic spirits for real it wouldn't be allowed release to the public in the first place. Of c o u r s e it's not real. I don't care if it's real or not, I already know it's made up fiction. I just want to know if it's good. Does it have good scares? Does it have enough imagination and quality to it, or is it the usual corny horror cliche-ridden violent trash? The answer? I've been watching it on YT, it's apparently free there and, er, no. It's not good. It is violent trash. There's little to zero tension build up, "the scary" scenes are presented in a very hokey, not frightening manner. Half the movie through and very little happens and for damn sure, there's nothing paranormally intense happening in it. A few mild instances of possession, an oil-like substance on the blinds, whatever. A lot of talking to various residents to get answers (cause, you know, it's a documentary. Oh, brother). I watch the other half of the movie and the ending finale has finally gone from boring and hokey to mid. Not climactic whatsoever. For a movie where the house has the gates to hell opened, I was expecting a heck of a lot more. If you want a good ghost horror watch Grave Encounters. Not the pos Hollywood sequel, the original. Hollywood ruined it with the sequel, they went with every hokey Hollywood horror cliche in the book....but the original is good.
