I enjoyed the film with its normal life pace, dynamics and Northern influences. I don't understand the description of 'comedy' though, not at all. It was a nicely executed production by all parties... talent, production, etc... but it won't be a film for everyone, it's a slow burner throughout and helped if one enjoys undulating cerebral entertainment. I'd recommend watching it but wouldn't watch it again, choose your viewing companions well.

A well crafted film and defo one to stick with until the end. It's certainly a step away from the norm but, to be honest, I'm glad to have seen it. I recommend 'Locke' to those susceptible to the message of life, doing the right thing and having empathy. Although it's a film from 2013 that I'd not seen before, it feels pretty much of the hear & now.

I really rate this film, it's very well made, well paced and a roller-coaster of high and low mood moments... all absolutely appropriate to the story. For those who have endured trauma this is an uplifting journey to take solace from. Enjoy the journey, swap your shoes with "Charlie' and see a brighter future for yourself. It's only a movie (of a book) but therapeutic if you let it be. I highly recommend watching this film and researching your questions with Internet answers.
