Not a movie to let your children watch.
Strange World is the LGBTQ's Piece De Resistance' :
In attempt to normalize things they would like to see done (WHICH ARE NOT ALL BAD) and interjecting language that they would like to hear in certain situations, they created a propo art film for themselves.
SPOILERS:
- A Community with lots of different skin tones (Obviously, not a bad thing, but not realistic. It is an attempt push integration as the norm. Like I said, not all the propaganda was bad)
- A White Father abandons his family to pursue a career (demonizing white men - like ""look it can happen in white families too", which it does, but being that he's one of the only light skinned characters in the film, it comes off as purposeful)
- A Mixed Race Marriage (Another obvious not a bad thing, but when everything else in the movie is so blatantly a message, this is an obvious message too)
- The grandson is gay & suddenly acts insecure and stumbles when around a boy he likes (formerly in movies, it is typical girl behavior around boys they like)
- When the grandson talks about liking a boy or acts like he likes the boy, no one bats an eye and, in fact, he is offered encouragement on how to approach and interact with the love interest
- There are lots of arguments about not growing up to be like your parents & striking out on your own path. (the wording in the arguments iss purposeful. It is clearly the kind of encouragement that LBGTQ would like to hear in their path for identity)
- There is even a scene at the end where they allude to polygamy being welcomed when the father returns after 25 years to find his wife had remarried & when the new husband sees him he immediately & joyously embraces the man
- THEN, if the agenda pertaining to identity and queer acceptance wasn't enough, it turns out the villains in the story are the humans destroying their world with a version of electricity. They eventually only can reside in peace when they go BACK TO HORSE & BUGGY & try to figure out how to create wind power!!!!
It's the most absolute woke propaganda I've ever seen. It's not even a good message or story at that.
I know Disney has a lot of LGBTQ creators who want to express themselves & see themselves in children's films, well, now they have their Piece de Resistance. It is a culmination of everything they want in a children's film.
Now, Disney can either go broke continually catering to the minority anti-Christian themes seen in this movie or they can go back to catering to their core audience which was Christian families who wanted wholesome stories they could show their kids without propaganda.
