I just saw the Ferrari movie and I really liked it. It was a beautiful period film that highlighted a very specific year in Enzo’s life, 1957. The film focused on a tenuous point in the history of his company and relationships. It was a slower, dramatic account of the stress in his life, also with stunning scenes of racing throughout Italy’s gorgeous landscapes and in that order. The sound capture was so good during the driving scenes that I became emotional many times and had to choke back tears of excitement. To me, it was definitely worth seeing in theatre. Go with a classy date or a car lover. Be forewarned: it’s not a typical fast-paced Hollywood movie. It’s a slower story about a few key characters, with cars going fast in a few scenes. Go to see it.
