Lars and the Real Girl is a heartfelt movie. Ryan Gosling plays Lars who becomes delusional from childhood trauma and believes an adult doll - Bianca - is his girlfriend. The whole town plays along to support Lars as he works through his relationship with her. If only the world and the church would treat people with mental illness the way the townspeople treated Lars - with love and empathy. Ryan was amazing as Lars. I loved this movie, and I highly recommend it.
