Not realistic as a future scenario for the US, imho. Too much shooting, killing, dead bodies, random pointless violence in urban/rural war zones. The US and the various nations of the world may break apart but not so much from politics as from future ravages of climate change. Dialogues were meaningless and overloaded with foul language. Everyone was chain smoking. Plot was shallow for me. There’s a strong tradition in America for peaceful transitions of power, it’s very resilient as the failure of Trump’s J6 attack on the US Capitol proved.
