This movie is a huge disappointment. The ratings set such a high expectation that doesn’t get met at all. I love military movies, and if you ever watched Lone Survivor or American Sniper those are great movies to compare this to.
Warfare is no where near the level of those titles. The movie is so drawn out that there’s moments where you’re anticipating something, only to be let down because there’s a build up that isn’t fulfilled. There were so many times where I thought “someone’s gonna get shot soon” and nothing happens.
These are also supposed to be Navy Seals, which are one of the most elite military groups. These directors made seals look like a bunch of punks that couldn’t keep their composure.
This is a war movie there’s supposed to be action. For gods sake the tanks weren’t even shooting then they started shooting after a while then they stopped again. I mean it’s just completely unrealistic. The story may have been true, but it was not put into a film in a good way. When the ending comes you’ll find yourself saying, “that was it?”
