Movie has such a good concept but poorly executed. Lacks emotion and depth. Decisions made seem like intentionally making the wrong decision and makes it a hard watch. Movie has such potential but just didn’t deliver. Leaving 3 stars because the concept is amazing and while the directing could have been better, it wasn’t entirely horrible.

What in the camp rock is going on… It’s like they tried to replicate the original like how “the Cinderella story” movies do but they failed miserably. The music score was overly used and horribly scored. Story and character development wasn’t even existent. It’s like Disney wanted to remake it so they used Disney directors, budget, and acting. The stunt doubles were so obvious and apparent. I’m only leaving two stars instead of zero because I need at least one to leave a review and I want to leave another one because of Devon Miles and Sean Taylor characters being kept in the film.

It’s like a bunch of kids put the film together and directed it with a low budget.

5/5 stars! I went into 'The Idea of You' with low expectations, thinking it would be a typical romance drama. But Anne Hathaway's phenomenal performance and the exceptional directing completely surprised me! The storyline may seem simplistic at first, but it masterfully explores the complexities of relationships, love, and human emotions in a way that feels incredibly relatable. I was deeply invested in the characters' experiences, feeling their pain, fear, and longing as if I had gone through it myself. The film's portrayal of the challenges of unconventional relationships and the importance of empathy and understanding is outstanding. The chemistry between the leads is undeniable, and the way the story tackles themes of love, betrayal, and personal growth is both poignant and thought-provoking. What struck me most was how the movie humanized the characters, flaws and all, and showed the nuances of relationships that are often overlooked. The film's ability to balance emotional depth with a compelling narrative is a testament to the talent of the cast and crew. Don't be quick to judge this movie based on its premise - give it a chance, and you'll be rewarded with a cinematic experience that will linger long after the credits roll. 'The Idea of You' is a beautiful exploration of the human heart, and I can't recommend it enough!

Great movie, horrible ending! The concept, story telling, acting, directing, videography is all exceptional! It keeps you wanting more. There were times it felt slow and dragging but all aspects are a factor. It was a very well put together film. The ending was very disappointing though. It’s one of those “up for your own interpretation” or intentionally left without closure for a sequel. I hope there is a sequel. This could be a very successful trilogy!

If you’re looking for a content filled action, this is not the show. The comedy is like a Disney for grownups. More “noodity” than usual and could pass as soft p0rn. Frequent low budget acting and low budget directing. However, the show is definitely entertaining. It’s chaotic and all over the place but that kind of makes it entertaining. It’s a fun little show, nothing more and nothing less. You won’t be bored! Unless you let can’t get passed the cons listed above. 4 stars because it’s oddly still quite entertaining.

Great concept but the end felt rushed. If they slowed it down and filled it with more content at the end, I think it would have been an easy 5 star. 8/10 storyline, 8/10 acting, 7/10 character development. I would give it an overall 3.8 out of 5.

Looool there is no way this is real. Two stars because the script and acting is so bad that we got a lot of laughs out of it. This movie is like a satire of low budget horror tropes, mocking all the cliche cringe scenes. We watched it though. It was a good laugh lol.
