5 years of incompetence by the Yorkshire police. All the work and effort put into catching the monster all came to nothing. By sheer chance two uniformed policemen made the capture. Yorkshire police hierarchy took ALL the credit, even laughing and celebrating as if they were at a fun filled party, and little or no mention at all of the two police officers who made the arrest. Disgraceful and disgusting behaviour!! Also the way the surviving victims were treated was absolutely shocking. Marcella was eventually awarded £17,000 but sadly lost all her benefits and still suffers from her injuries today. The chief superintendent received £40, 000!! Doreen Hills case was thrown out!!
