I was opportune to read Ecstasy of the Dead through a friend of mine who bought the book from Amazon. When Philip first lend me the book, I wasn't readily interested to read through it because I wasn't that interested in African Literature. But when I read Ecstasy of the Dead, by the Nigerian Author called Peter Okonkwo, It surprised my skepticism. Every nook and cranny of the book is something that I found pleasing. I found the perfection of life in such poetry work.
Maybe, I'll be the first to admit that the book was written out of raw passion, earnest desire, doom and fortune, religious philosophy, the scenario of life after death, misfortune and fortune, etcetera Etcetera.
The book has a portion of articles not too far from the glossary. Those articles feature the problem in our world today, while some communicate the necessity of living a moral life.
Word cannot quantify the genre of power that lies in this book called Ecstasy of the Dead. I strongly recommend this anthology for everyone who has breath.
