I thought this was a fantastic piece of work, so many underlying messages and themes and addressing some of the most uncomfortable and unattractive qualities of being human. Its the only movie I've watched that takes such an honest and raw look at western societal norms and even human inter-relationships.

Thought it was great! Genuine representation of Australian outback lifestyle, with just the right amount of humor and drama. The acting is superb, Sam Neill really moves the audience with a five star performance. The use of music, special effects and the supporting cast makes for a potential iconic Australian film. Highly recommend

A truly mesmerising movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Its telling a confronting story that most Australian's have not heard before, but in doing so its putting the message of truth out there. Amazing acting, beautiful scenery and the soundtrack had the whole audience enthralled.

You'd don't have to be religious or Christian to watch 'The Chosen', it is a work of cinematic art that should be enjoyed by us all! Dashingly handsome (and beautiful) actors, stunning cinematography and music, and a plot line as old as European civilisation = a must see for the whole family!

This was an amazing movie and particularly surprising with Melissa McCarthy as the protagonist. It is more of an art work than a movie, beautiful cinematography, excellent acting and screenplay, a poignant plot with under tones of comedy. It brings raw real world problems to the screen and holds the audience in a constant trance. Could not recommend it more.

I loved this movie. As a cinematic piece it is not especially well done (working with a very small budget), it is more the true story that will leave you with a lasting impression. It is a very confronting movie, leaving you to consider a different perspective on the controversial topic of abortion. It does present a very factual and logical point of view from both sides. Whether you be pro-life or pro-choice or on the fence, this is a movie well worth watching!

Watch the original Anne of Green Gables movies, this tv show goes way off the books and changes character profiles and the plot substantially. What made the story of Anne of Green Gables so bewitching, is completely lost in this remake.
