This is an incredible game. I want to keep this review short, the story the gameplay are both fantastic. I'm not sure why the user reviews are so low, but if I had to guess it's because of a knee jerk reaction to one or two of the major plot points in the story. I'm on my second play through now and while the feeling is different since I already know what happens, it doesn't detract from the game at all. Throughout the game I was rooting for the characters, empathized with their pain, lusted for their vengeance, and was dragged down into their despair. The emotions that it evokes are horrifying and visceral. I rarely story based games more than once, but I'm pretty sure after a few months time I'll come back for a third dose.
