Phenomenal acting with realistic characters that may sometimes be annoying but hit close to home. The whole movie is monotone in colour which may be abit gloomy to watch but it rly encapsulates the whole apocalyptic scenario. It reminded me of the kdrama "Happiness" since everyone is stuck in an apartment complex, which is a trope i quite enjoy when most conflicts happen within an inescapable compound. There's no kiss scene (surprisingly) but the chemistry btwn the leads was REAL! Overall, I recommend this movie for anyone interested in survival/dystopian/natural disaster movies.
SPOILERS (mostly mild criticisms)
It was quite confusing why the survivors didnt just venture further away from the disaster-struck areas since they explicitly mentioned a delayed rescue team (an earthquake can't hv hit an entire nation right??)--this seems a much better option than dying of hypothermia or resorting to cannibalism. The female lead's character (my fav park bo young!!) came off as quite irritating esp with her insistence on saving ppl when she could barely save herself n her husband who was trying so hard just to survive! Also, since she was a nurse, why was there no scene of her trying to save her husband's wound towards the end? I'd say the ending was rushed but acceptably one with enough closure.
