I have enjoyed watching the Rachel Maddow Show for a long time. It is wonderful to watch someone so smart and with the wonderful ability to communicate so well with the audience and her guests. One thing I have been thinking about is the abortion debate. Why, in a country founded on freedom of religion do we even consider letting one branch of a religion dictate their beliefs to our country. I assume it is a political wedge. However it is totally absurd to allow a minority to judge and dictate to the rest of us. Many people I know that are for the right to abortion are also Christians and believe in individual rights.
