It's pretty silly - and yet you can't help but watch it until the end and you can't help enjoying the film.
The action and suspense, humour and romance, horror, stunt work, sets, scenery and acting compensate for a pretty stupid plot.

Peter Duncan was Australia's youngest ever Attorney General (in South Australia ) and then went on to Federal Parliament where he held several portfolios. Legislation in relation to gender equality and diversity which he initiated at State level was the vanguard for later national legislation.
His post-political involvement in commercial projects which he believed worthy and which he believed would benefit Adelaide specifically and humanity generally ended - mainly due to circumstances beyond his control and exacerbated by his excoriation by a hostile media - in what can euphemistically be described as absolute, tragic disaster - resulting in complete financial annihilation for his family and costing him his mental stability and, indirectly, his wife her life.
Peter's writing style makes this is an easy read - but in many places a drainingly painful emotional one.
It is a raw and authentic account, which in places also exposes the ruthless underbelly of this country's political landscape.
Well worth reading.

Idris is always great whatever production he's in; there's lots of action; you kinda have to hang in there to watch it to the end ..... but none of the above saves this film from a silly plot that becomes increasingly farcical as the film progresses and final scenes that really stretch credibility to the limit..
