The overwhelmingly negative reviews prompted me to add a few words of encouragement to all those involved in bringing this poignant tale to life. I am an avid watcher of natural history documentaries and was positively entranced by a year in the life of the elusive Sasquatch. I love how the film-makers shared their view of reality from the perspective of a creature that may or may not actually exist. It was an amusing, yet also sobering, foray into the life of a being rapidly descending into extinction....a being that very well could have been one of our ancestors. Yes, maybe there should have been less emphasis on bodily functions and more on the relationships between the members of the troop and their environment. However, I was delighted by the Sasquatch attitude toward the other denizens of the forest. And that last heart-wrenching scene of Mother & Family at the museum entrance was epically unforgettable! A standing ovation is due to all involved in bringing us "Sasquatch Sunset." Thank you!
