I am giving this one star so people will read it. The movie is definately for an older audience but lets not forget that Disney has made plenty of other things worse than Turning Red. The Simpsons Movie is on Disney plus so, IDK what was so surprising. I dont know of a movie where Disney represented the pre-teen and it was really cool to see it. Just because your six year old can't watch it, you're gonna throw a fit? Yikes. It's a good movie. And for everyone saying the main character was "annoying" and "unlikeable"? That is every 13 year old ever. They're trying to figure themselves out and it is a process not to mention it's weird. I remember being 13 and feeling the exact same things. Lets not forget we were all there at some point. As a society, we have ben challenging Disney to make more adverse movies forever. Well. Here you go. You need an open mind when first watching the movie and you need to be able to remember what it was like when you were 13. It's very different for Disney but also really amazing.
