*This is a spoiler free review While watching the film Hello World, I just couldn't shake off the feeling something just wasn't right about it. I will try to explain why is it that I was unable to enjoy this film unlike what appears to be the majority of the reviewers on google. Firstly, the world of this film just didn't make sense to me one bit. I found myself questioning more and more as the film progressed, how is what just happened even possible. There are no set laws as to how things work, they just seem to work eventually. I would give examples yet I'd prefer to keep this review spoiler free so that people can read it before watching. Secondly, there are some plot lines developed throughout the film, with which absolutely nothing happened. Certain developments were seemingly obviously teased, only for nothing to happen with them and for nothing to explain what was even the point of those details if they weren't teasing anything. Finally, the ending didn't make much sense to me either. I will not go into any further details about this one because for that I will most certainly have to spoil it. I gave a 2 star review and not a 1 star because the characters are likeable, despite them being barely unique and distinguishable from parallel characters in similar films; ones you likely watched or will watch if you are interested in Hello World. Overall, contrary to the common consensus it seems, I did not enjoy Hello World and I believe I wasted my time watching it. Therefore, I do not recommend this film.
