If you took Adipurush and made it into a TV series, it would still be better than this series. This series had the potential to be great, but it's let down by the lack of devotion to Hindu Itihaas. It's trying to rewrite some key stories, i.e., Bhasmasura challenges Mahadev to a dance competition, and Mahadev makes him touch his head, while the actual story is Vishnu Dev takes the form of Mohini and makes him touch his head. In the current story, Mataji is fighting Chand and Mund's army, but she's too weak to fight; she can't even summon her power, so the male gods have to save her by reinforcing her power with their female energies (read the Devi Bhagwat; Parvati represents Adishakti; it's not possible for her to be weakened by an Asura). This series should have promoted equality between male and female (Ardhanarishvara); instead, it makes Hindu gods look weak and completely disrespects the faith of millions of people.
