Off the hook good! Hilarious, fast paced and brilliant. Has a Tombstone vibe, one of my favorite movies. The dialog, the characters, savoring my second read. Love all of Abercrombie’s books. This works as a standalone if you have yet to read the First Law trilogy. But if you have, the references to it are also terrific.

Book reader here. The show is fun and worthwhile to watch even though lots of book readers are incensed. Glad to have the adaptation. Listening to Brandon Sanderson’s and Drew McCaffrey’s perspectives on podcasts (Intentionally Blank, Legendarium) re: the show (which are analytical and not just promo hype) helped me to appreciate the positive. These two know love the book sagas better than most! Glad to see characters come to life on screen - no matter the changes here and there.
