This film is a compilation of red flags. Athiya, who wants to go abroad by marrying Nawazuddin is labelled an opportunist. Nawazuddin, who gives in to his mother’s demands of dowry is a good son. Nawazuddin’s mother gives her daughter in law (Athiya) lessons in manipulation by withholding sex with her own son. Nawazuddin overhears. He shouts at his mother and slaps his wife. Athiya tries to walk out but is denied shelter by her own parents. Nawazuddin’s grandmother tells Athiya that she better come back while she is still wanted. She comes back to her matrimonial home. A song plays about how one should forget and forgive trivial things while Nawazuddin never bothers to say sorry. One day Nawazuddin leaves. Everyone blames Athiya and wonders why she did not forgive him despite him not saying sorry. Did she not hear the background score? Then Nawazuddin comes back the next morning and says that he spent the night at the airport but could not leave. The film concludes with the very short hero meeting the very tall heroine very conveniently on a staircase such that the hero is able to stand taller than her, lest his masculinity is called to question. The end.
