As a fan of the Halo franchise I will say that this review is going to much like the others.
I've been playing Infinite since Beta launch and like any game launches/season launches it hasn't been without its problems, all that being said; I would say that Halo Infinite gets a 10/10 just for the response from the game developers implementing fixes to problems that players are experiencing. A problem is not a problem for long and with regular updates it seems to be on the right path imo.
The campaign itself is what I expected to be honest, I thought the world and world map would be a mixup of what you see from far-cry or some of the other open world games, but with a Halo twist, which was correct. Only thing with far-cry type games is you usually end up leaving smaller missions in favour of the larger main campaign ones; with Infinite however it was quite the opposite for me. I actually completed all the side missions first and didn't find myself getting bored. The main campaign is what to expect from any Halo game, a good story which you don't want to end. Hopefully there will be some DLC in the near future. Maybe including exploring more of the ring which we have not explored yet?
Multi-player on Infinite has to be my favorite so far. I played all the other Halo games and can stand by that statement. Before Infinite I was still playing Halo 5, which at the time I liked but found myself struggling with the "rythym" of the gameplay on occasions. (All I played was ranked on Halo 5 mainly). With Infinite I found myself enjoying the weekly missions/battlepass/mini events and it got me off of ranked a bit more and enjoying other game modes with an actual purpose to playing them. I find the gameplay smooth and easy to get back into even after a few days off. Matchmaking seem to be fairer imo. My only current gripe has to be that we have been given a lot of time to complete the battlepass and I find myself doing it relatively quick, also with the mini events, also with normal weekly challenges. Once you have done everything there isn't much to do other than ranked, I'm not suggesting to just make everything harder but maybe to include a reason to keep people playing if they complete things relatively quick. Maybe a "bonus" event?
All in all, we have another happy customer.
Halo Infinite 10/10
