I don't think any one really knows this album exists. I am glad it does. I came across it when I was doing a deep dive into Ron Carter's body of work. This is a gem, they improvise way more that they play the theme. I loved it. Very cool, any old school Star Wars / post bop jazz fan will love it. Its up on youtube, you can listen to it for free.
