Atrocitus Warsaw

An astonishing narration of surreal but true events with a funny approach toward obscure human nature... One of those movies where the screenplay, direction, and camera are so well connected that it seems like you are one of the firsthand observers of the events. The acting of those kids is better than most of Hollywood stars nowadays. Feels like a newspaper recount but with the magnificence of a good writer behind it. Spoilers: If you are one of those who expect a lazy job from one of those Netflix movies, don´t review it because this one has heart and a well-made and original story behind it.

A well-produced and written horror movie with poetic lines and photography that connects us with the inner dialog of the main character, instead of being a repetitive showboat full of recycled ideas, this movie embraces traditional and legendary themes to create a story charged with poetic language, not in a recharged and unpleasant pastiche, but in a natural, simple and realistic way. The visceral feeling that surrounds the whole movie shakes the viewer allowing the immersion and creating a realistic perspective of a fantastic narrative. Don't expect to be a scary movie in the sense of jumpscares and horrid monsters, this one demands some sort of belief in obscure situations in traditional magical thinking.
