This show started with so much promise and interesting factors that could have lead to one of the most interesting anime series of all times. Sad to say is was rather disappointing with a lack of plot as the show went on with barely any important character development. The characters with backstory shortly left with little explanation and the important characters were over looked. By the time season two had ended the writers had thrown in and taken away so many characters that it was hard to even connect with anyone. Especially the main character (Ken Kaneki) who had no longer felt like the person that they had started the show to be and it was just honestly a big disappointment. Awesome concept and wish for a reboot with better writers or at least written with a guided plot. It over all felt thrown together with blood and other flashy techniques to keep the viewer watching.
