It lives up to, and surpasses 30 years of anticipation! I didn't like the art style at first, but after playing for a few minutes I stopped thinking of it as jarring and it pulled me in, you know, like art! Now I love it. The jokes all land. I'm laughing out loud frequently. There are clever metaphors, in-jokes and references and plenty of new jokes. It captures the humor of the originals without feeling overtly nostalgic. The writing and characters are really clever. Brilliant work from Ron, Dave and team. An awesome game!

I left about a third through the movie. Like so many these days it's overtly racist. White people are portrayed as incompetent and condescending and ghetto Hispanics and blacks are portrayed as brilliant and plucky. This is not the world we live in and is not a fantasy world I want to participate in. Half the actual Transformers speak with ghetto accents. Why can't our fantasies even speak proper English? 80% of the screen time is taken up by thieves who supposedly can speak decent English, and poor minorities who are oppressed by some nameless system. Woke garbage.
