The most important part of this film was at Boot Camp where we saw a slightly watered down version of recruit training. Drill instructors had only a short time to turn a herd cats into a cohesive and effective group of soldiers. It was all about thinking as a “Team” member, not as an individual who could put his unit at risk. What was learned there at Camp Pendleton and Camp Lejune saved lives.
