(Very slight spoiler at the end) Wish I could give this 3.5 stars. The beginning of the movie wasn’t great, and the goats got old pretty fast. I didn’t like the New Asgard setting, it felt weird and not very godly, and it was a bit cliche and cringy at times. That being set, I loved the middle/end of the movie a lot! Thor is my favorite Marvel superhero and he didn’t let me down. The fight scenes were awesome, especially the shadow realm scene, the villain was really interesting, well designed, and honestly one of my favorite Marvel movie villains I’ve seen; and he was played by Christian Bale so that’s a plus. Loved Korg, Jane, Valkyrie, and I’m looking forward to future movies about Thor and the kid!
