Shripathi Kamath

An exciting show to watch with good acting. The plot is engaging, but the instruments used to advance the plot are so far-fetched that they take the edge away. Season 2 is worse than Season 1 in that respect. Fans of “Person of Interest” will find it entertaining just the same.

The show has progressively worsened with each season. The first five episodes in S1 were fantastic. Since then, it has slowly eased into a documentary of life on the ranch, a continual repetition of themes to emphasize the nature of each character, and in Season 5, degenerated into bashing city-folk caricatured clumsily by the Piper Perabo character. A country song or two every episode is a substitute for any plots being advanced. I suspect it’s now attracting a lot of the Duck Dynasty crowd. 1923 is a lot more promising.

Think 'Big' recast in a Superhero universe. Vulnerable kid learning fast to handle rapid transformation into adult responsibility. Humorous, sensitive, and feel-good.
