Really enjoyed the film, low key and beautifully shot. Good opening sequence and decent narrative. Although i felt a side narrative had no real point but accepted it. Quite a moody film, which was good. Good concept and well delivered. Was a tad too long but thats a small ctritique. Worst thing was the sister, couldnt understand a word she said and she seemed to speak too 'street' for the feeling of the film. Wellworth a watch all on all.

Really enjoyed Prey! Im a huge Predator fan, this was very different but very well considered, acted and executed. Some excellent elements that i wont spoil and little dash of comic relief here and there. The Predator is design is unique and is quite foreboding and actually scary at times. You get the feeling of it being highly skilled and unstoppable. There are nods to the Predators real stength too, comparable in a real world situation. Which was excellently portrayed. Plus some brutal new weapons! The antagonist is very beautiful and very a very expressive actress, resourceful and uses skills and knowledge from her world to assist in her fight. You genuinely care about what happens to her and some of the tribe. I really liked the portrayal of the Comanche people and get a sense of their bravery. All in all a great addition to the franchise and a revamp sorely needed. Predator but not as we know it. I just missed Long Tall Sally at the end credits 😁 but those in the know will recognise an item from a previous film. And they do actually get to da choppa, except its a tomahawk! Great film!! 9 out of 10 And im fussy!
