A Slap in the Face — They Ruined the Franchise
I was so excited for this movie after loving the original films, and what I got was absolute betrayal. The actors themselves were fine, but everything else was a disgrace. Whoever directed this needs to never touch this franchise — or any franchise — again. You had gold on a platter and chose to trash it with selfish choices and cheap spectacle.
The “Teletubby ninjas” ending was insulting. Nothing matched, nothing connected, and the tone completely betrayed everything the earlier films stood for. This wasn’t horror, it wasn’t survival, it was a hollow cash grab dressed up as “cinematic.”
For me, this wasn’t just a bad movie — it was emotional distress. This was a slap in the face to fans who waited years, and to the legacy of two brilliant films. Shame on the scriptwriters, the director, and whoever thought this ending was acceptable.
I will never see this movie again, and I hope the creators take this as a hard lesson: when you betray your own values and your audience, you don’t just make a bad film — you ruin a franchise
I edited this heavily because I’m a god fearing man the amount of anger I have is being heavily suppressed:(
