forty years and nine films , so does this film bring to a satisfactory conclusion the saga . In a way yes and in a way no hence a three star review. I actually like Rey's back story , it makes sense but I won't spoil it for you if you haven't yet seen the film . I also like the connection between Kylo and Rey . Is Kylo's finale satisfactory , having slept on it probably . The downside to the film is the timespan (or lack of) given the galaxy hopping that takes place sixteen hours is frankly nuts (bit like a certain PM's ****** deadline) and that detracts from the film . I'd have liked to know what happens to Finn and Rose . Its not my favourite Star Wars film (Rogue one by a mile) and after forty years the stormtroopers do remain rubbish . Nice to see all the gang together although at times it felt one too many nods to the fandom
