Excellent video on an unexplored history; that of Old Korea or Chosan as it was known. American and Japanese influences are explained through fictional story of romantic interest of Chosan woman and US Army officer who are caught up in the fray of an international struggle for power by the US and Japan. For those who don’t have a working history of the Far East this is a good approximation of what really took place. The main exclusion is that of China, Russia, and France: a big omission. Good fare otherwise and very well acted and produced by the national South Korean Public Arts Commission. Rating: 4.9
