Lemon Fire

This movie is basically Mad max plus Star wars but worst then both movies. It dumps ten piles of space politics, nonsensical lore and predictable plot lines that all make no sense. Like maybe if they eased the audience into it all, I might have gotten on the hype train but Jesus Christ 5 minutes and can already tell he's going to bang the blue eyed chick. Too much is happening and none of it is interesting and just confused the shit out of me. I barely lasted 20 minutes. Also "The Voice" tell me that's not a Star Wars ripoff right there

The plot was dry and I honestly didn't plan on watching a whole hour of kids in boarding school doing nothing interesting when I went to watch this movie. It took to long to pick up and felt like a generic childrens novel about kids with powers adapted into a movie rather then an X-Men film. If u took away the references to Logan nothing about this movie is X-Men or Marvel related. The X-Men franchise has so many characters and they made 9 wolverine movies half of which are his origin story and this. It's just a bland dry film that felt out of place in the X-Men movie series. Also your telling me that they left in entire school of kids dangerous kids that they literally want to be future killers under the care of one lady who makes barrier. Half of this movie was me realizing that I could have skipped the first 30 minutes and missed nothing and the other was me waiting for the other doctors to show up. It felt like they were setting up a team for smth but nothing every came of it unless there's a tv show I don't know about. At the end they just leave the school like we all knew they would the second the concept of it got introduced after killing Reyes like we knew they would. Barely any mystery, -1 for the protag randomly having a dream (that not in her power set) that solves everything the villain keeping important physical files in an unlocked office. There is no real build up to it and it feels like a pilot to a Netflix show. Compare this to Promised Neverrealm Anime (season 1 not 2) which works well as a horror coming to age school thing because there an actual mystery, build up to the escape of the school. The show was scary and there were actually stakes so it worked. This isn't the worst X-Men movie but it's the most bland.

Meh its just tumblr oc's cussing at each other and making sex jokes. No character devolpment and a lot of jokes don't hit. The character designs range from stupidly over complicated and tacky to downright ugly. It lost all the charm them pilot had and honestly isn't worth a watch. The only good things have to say about it is that most of the songs are pretty good. Loser baby is on my personal playlist despite my feelings on the show. And as the other reviews are saying it try's so hard to be edgy and comes off as really cringe most of the time. I was really excited for this show but it is literally one of the worst adult animated shows I have even seen. 2 stars its got one good song that's it
