The silent patient does many things well, the different perspectives and timelines are well told and written.
What it majorly lacks is an actual “plot twist” as it’s very apparent how it will end a little over half way through the book. Between this and the many plot holes that simply don’t make sense, I was personally left feeling very unsatisfied.
This is a “mystery” at best, nothing about it is a thriller to me. 2/5.
