Character Overview: While the show focuses on the Gada Family(Jethalal Gada---the businessman who has a Electronic shop,His father, his son Tappu, and wife Daya), they also features other protagonist families who live in the same colony and have good friendship with each other Taarak Mehta(a writer,best friend of Jethalal) lives with his wife Anjali(diet-concious) The secretary is Atmaram Bidhe(also is a Tution teacher), his wife is Madhvi(business of Achaar-Papad) and daughter Sonu.
