Disney’s Snow White feels less like a fairytale and more like a lecture. In an attempt to be ‘modern,’ they’ve stripped away everything that made the original story magical, replacing it with forced messaging and bland characters. Snow White doesn’t need a prince, the dwarfs are barely there, and the whole thing comes off as a soulless attempt to check boxes rather than tell a compelling story. If you’re looking for classic Disney magic, you won’t find it here
