Don't read the reviews by the so called reviewers. I'd say just watch the film. Loosely based off a true story, and considering the writers and the director took the creative liberty to make the movie, it's importance cannot be undermined.
This is Abhishek's genre. If you don't compare him with the legendary Sr. AB, you'd really love the Jr. AB. I would go a little overboard in saying that even Sr. AB at his prime couldn't have done a better job than Jr. AB.
Yami is slowly getting into the Taapsee zone where directors would queue up for her signature. She has the talent and charisma to do atleast 5 films in a year. She's not the chocolate girl anymore. After "A Thursday", she delivers yet another punch. Nimrat Kaur: Where have you been all this while. Rarely got to see you after Lunchbox and Airlift. Venture into the commercial cinema and I'm sure you'd get a lot of roles to your liking. All in all, an honest effort on the part of the makers to deliver a very important message to the country. Specially, the politicians.
