Very realistic and refreshingly fast-paced. You can sense the rush for the two protagonists to make the most out of their time. The dialogue delivery and expressions of the lead pair and supporting cast are on point. Sanjana plays an introvert girl next door, initial reluctance for the hero’s efforts to make her feel special, seems natural due to her situation. Her style transforms from ordinary to colourful as the movie progresses, reflecting her change in perspective. The initial scenes are somber, as an early harbinger of what is to unfold. The hero uplifts the mood with his spontaneity, and the songs blend well. Sushant shines in the emotional scenes and seems uncannily real. The Desi adaptation of the script was well-done, especially the regional influences and the parents' characterization. A fitting swan song for a star!
