Being a person of color I liked the show. It was different. And the courting of socks was very creative. Bob awakened and saw an angel... the stick is his family doesn’t know the nurse is black. There were moments where I experienced genuine laugh out loud laughter. I like the fact the family is on team bob! However, seeing him as a meal ticket I am not so sure. But his brother has an elitist pothead... I look forward to seeing him go stronger drugs and then to successful rehab and mature. As the drug of white America today is opioids. Location has nothing to do with it. I would like the show to use come themes to encourage independent thinking. I see this show as Archie bunker/Jefferson’s mix that deals with commons issues through love and laughter both of which bridge the gap between hatred and discrimination. I heart bob and Abishola!
