I know the rating says 4/5, but I would give it a 4.5 if there was an option to do so. The story, acting, lines, directing and all the other work put into it were great, and there were almost no cheesy lines. But the it lost a 0.5 from me because the character of Shikha had barely any significance in the storyline. The only thing that was notable about her was that one dialogeu where she told Sam that he should wear a seatbelt. No hate to Reba John by the way, her acting was good, but I'm just saying that the difference that could be seen in the story without her will be unnoticable compared to the story with Shikha. This movie would take a bit of brains to grasp because of some the unsaid and implied things. I watched the movie with my parents, and they're pretty big movie junkies, but the final life story of the killer was a bit hard for them to get, and I ended up explaining it to them later. Overall, it's a pretty good watch, but i wouldnt say it's a 'must-watch'.

The movie shows that a woman can't simply "move on" when her husband or anyone slaps her. When her husband slapped Amu, she was expected to forget it and go on with their lives. Everyone was worried about him, about what people, friends, family, and neighbours would think of him, and what would happen to his job. What if it was vice-versa? What if she slapped him? People would scold her and look down on her. This is the problem of our society. Women should keep quiet, men do whatever they want. Netra and Sunitha were in similar situations, and they didn't do anything, because of this societal restriction that was embedded into their minds. Only when Amu spoke, all of them gained the confidence and the reassurance that yes, all of us are going through the same thing, and we are not wrong to feel this shouldn't happen.
