Absolute rubbish, was this a true reflection of life in England 1918, I don’t think so, even with the criminal classes. How this was ever compared to Peaky Bilnders I will never know. I lost interest after 10 minutes, there was the usual wokery inclusions that seem to seep into every new film series these days, The line up of the new police recruits included a black girl and a Chinese girl, really. I point this out at risk of being accused a racist, which I am not. In fact I believe the first black police woman was not employed in the UK until 1968, not before time I might add. I look forward to reading reviews by others on this series,
