Woke garbage. Purely mediocre. I gave up when the book started spewing socially woke commentary. Avoid. If I would have known this, I never would have picked it up to read. Ruined the entire book for me. Unnecessary crap woven into the story for no rhyme or reason and entirely gratuitous. Would have been a halfway decent albeit medicre story without it. How it got rated so highly is telling. Either it got rated for its wokeness or the reviews are fake. I will never trust the review process again. Waste of time.
