First off I am not a hard core comic fan. I wouldn't even qualify as a soft core fan. I don't know all the stories that led up to this TV series or X-Men and I still enjoy it anyway. Following it from the beginning, it has kept me looking forward to the "next" episode. It may be hard for someone to jump in at season 2 and get up to par without binge watching season 1...just saying... It is a show my husband and I can watch together and that is an added bonus. At some point everyone would like super human ability and this show touches on the pros and cons of being "gifted". I am so glad it made it to a season 2. I hope the writers can keep it fresh so we can enjoy this series for awhile.
