Dumb, that about what it boils down to. I'm not even going to express my disdain for the plot and ridiculous dialog (script, did they even have one?) of this movie and the choice of this particular all-female cast as there are more than enough reviews here for that. I'll just stick to the poor cast choices. Melissa McCarthy as usual thinks she is funnier than she actually is. She is the Rosanne Barr of the 2010's. Please stop giving her roles. She's not funny at all. Kristen Wig is genuinely funny, just not in this film. She's the female Will Ferrell. If you like Will Ferrell, you probably like Kristen Wig. Kate McKinnon is a very funny lady, but this was not the right role for her and saddled with the baggage of her unfunny costars, she just could not shine. Last, but not least, Leslie Jones. One of the most unfunny women I have ever seen on TV. Mildly humorous on SNL, she should stick to small bits where she plays the crazy lady or something similar. She just can't act and is seriously unfunny when acting for more than 30 seconds. She is second only to McCarthy in this regard. You simply can't put a bunch of mediocre comedians (excluding Kate) together with a terrible script and say Go! and expect a terrific movie.
